Ferguson, MO, July 18, 2024 — Because Bricks, a charitable organization dedicated to providing early STEM experiences through access to LEGO bricks, is thrilled to announce its first donation delivery. Two Because Boxes, filled with 10 pounds of LEGOs, have been sent to Mrs. April Grob’s class at the Johnson - Wabash Sixth Grade Center in Ferguson, Missouri.
This donation marks the beginning of Because Bricks' mission to provide underserved communities with resources that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. The Johnson - Wabash Sixth Grade Center, located in greater St. Louis, Missouri, serves a diverse student body that will benefit greatly from the educational and imaginative opportunities these LEGO bricks provide.
"We are excited to connect with Mrs. Grob and the Johnson - Wabash Sixth Grade Center for our inaugural donation," said Sidney Trasler, Founder of Because Bricks. "Our goal is to provide early engineering experiences for underserved children, and we believe that access to LEGO can make a substantial impact on their educational journey."
Founded and run by high-school student Sidney Trasler in Los Angeles, California, Because Bricks is committed to expanding its reach and looks forward to partnering with more schools across the country. Through donations and community support, the organization aims to bring the joy and educational benefits of LEGO play to children who might not otherwise have access.
